Bentota & Beruwala

Along the bustling Galle road, having barely left the helter skelter of Colombo, one is first greeted by the quaint fishing town of Beruwala and then the more ‘touristy’ Bentota.

Negombo, Sri Lanka’s fifth largest city is situated on the West coast of the island, less than 10km from the country’s international airport.

Famed for its picturesque Dutch Fort (a UNESCO World Heritage Site) and a gathering for literary enthusiasts during the month of January on account of the annual Galle Literary Festival.
